ESPEasy
Overview
ESPEasy is an open-source firmware for ESP8266 and ESP32 microcontrollers designed to make home sensor and actuator projects simple and accessible. With over 200 plugins, ESPEasy supports a vast array of sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, gas, motion, light), displays, actuators, and communication protocols. Configuration is done entirely through a web interface — no programming required. ESPEasy communicates via MQTT, HTTP, and other protocols to integrate seamlessly with Home Assistant, Domoticz, openHAB, and other automation platforms. Its “plug and play” philosophy means you can build a sophisticated sensor network without writing a single line of code.
