Rallly

Rallly is a self-hostable, open-source tool for scheduling group meetings. Instead of back-and-forth emails, you create a poll with a few proposed times, share a single link, and everyone votes on when they can make it. It is a popular open alternative to Doodle, and can even be self-hosted for full data control.

Key Features

  • Simple scheduling polls — propose a few times, share a link, participants vote — no accounts needed
  • No sign-up required — anyone can create a poll or vote without registering
  • Timezone-aware — each participant sees the proposed times in their own timezone automatically
  • Free and open source — the hosted app is free to use; the self-hosted version runs on Next.js/Postgres
  • Polls auto-delete when inactive — your data is not kept forever (free plan)
  • Privacy-first — no ads, no selling your data, inspectable open-source code

Why Use Rallly?

It removes the friction of coordinating group availability — especially large groups that are hard to round up over email. Because it is open source and can be self-hosted, you keep your scheduling data private rather than in a third-party SaaS.

Use Cases

  • Team meetings and stand-ups where several people must agree on a time
  • Planning events, calls, or catch-ups across different timezones
  • Personal scheduling like meetups, study groups, or family gatherings
  • Self-hosted scheduling for privacy-conscious organisations
